The US space agency, NASA, released an independent study report on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) on July 20, 2022. The report reviewed over 900 reports of UAPs, most of which occurred between 2004 and 2021.
The report found that most of the UAP reports could be explained as aircraft, weather phenomena, or other known natural phenomena. However, some reports could not be explained at all.
The report emphasized the need for further research into UAPs. NASA has established a new team to study UAPs, which will begin its work in 2023.
